Rules for my Wings

How to Credit Me:

Creating a CLICKABLE link to my image in your description. This is not negotiable.
When I say link to my image, I don't mean link to my profile, that doesn't help people find stocks.
Comment on my stock image with the link to your deviation.
Comment on my profile ONLY when you can't find the stock you used to comment on it.
If you cannot find the stock you used to make a clickable link, I will provide you with a link.

Do not note me with your deviation.
Do not comment on my profile with your deviation.
I will be very upset if I find out that my stock hasn't been credited. Be warned: I watch many angel and wing groups, usually your winged images end up there eventually for me to see, and if I haven't seen them before, I go checking for credits.

Copyright Infringement

 

Failing to credit me is copyright infringement.
Under no circumstance may my images be posted elsewhere in their original, unmanipulated form, credited or uncredited.
Under no circumstance may you use my wings off-site without a typed out or clickable link credit.
You may not use my wings in collaboration with copyrighted imagery. See dA policy: help.deviantart.com/157/

Horse and Wolf (All Animals) Manips

 

Whether or not a wing is allowed on horses and wolves is listed on the wing image itself or in the deviation description. If it says No Horses, that means No Wolves, and No other animals also.
If a wing stock says No Horses and you use it on a horse or wolf (or other animal), I will ask that you remove the image. Frankly, I don't care about your excuses. Especially if it was written on the image, you had to see it before erasing it.
If the wing stock says "With permission." Ask my permission. I will view your gallery and give or decline it. If you don't ask my permission, I will ask that you remove the image.

If you do not remove the image, I will request removal via a DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice.

If you want permission to use one of my wing stocks on an animal, I will require you to use a minimum of 4-5 stocks total to prevent the drag and drop look that I see far too oftne.
If you really want to use my wing stock and it says no horses or wolves (all animals) or I have declined permission, you can always purchase the stock.
You may not post an image containing my wing stock on a horse, wolf site, or other animal site. This is all-inclusive. I will not give permission. Ever. This includes no layouts, icons, or banners for said sites. This includes RPG sites. Ex. Howrse, PonyBox, Makeshiftheart, Helovia, etc.

Categorizing Images Using my Wings

The following categories are acceptable: Any category under Digital Art.
Any category not under Digital Art. You will have to change it.
For example, if you list an image containing my wings as photography or traditional art, you will have to change it because: A. You did not photograph these wings. B. You did not draw these wings. (see referencing).

Off-Site Non-Commercial Usage Steps

Post the image first to deviantART.
Post the image in the off-site location.
All off-site usage should have a written out or clickable link on or near the image itself. No exceptions.
Send me a link, via comment on the stock used, the links to both the dA and off-site locations.

Commercial Use of Wing Stock

All of my wing stock is purchasable for commercial.. Please contact me on dA or e-mail katie_litchfield@yahoo.com
When using my wings for commercial purposes, they must be part of a combined image.
My wings may not be purchased for the purpose of re-selling them.
Once purchased, you may not claim my wings as your own. You did not create them.
Selling images containing my wings off-site or otherwise for any form of currency, this includes digital currencies, is considered commercial use. Thus payment is required.
Please feel free to sell prints from dA, that is free.
Commissions using my wings are commercial use. Thus payment is required.
Basically: If you're getting paid, so am I.

Prints

My stocks can be used for prints on deviantART ONLY.
I consider off-site prints to be commercial use. (see commercial use)

Using Wings on Line-Art or Cartoon Style Images

Absolutely... NOT.

Wing Stock as Reference for Traditional Art

Sure! Credit me as stated at the beginning of this entry and send me a link.
It has to be posted to dA.

Wing Stock in School Projects and Newspapers

Sure! Don't forget to give credit along with whatever you've made when you turn it in.
It has to be posted to dA and a link sent to me.

Using My Wings In/As Stock
